Doña Ayda Morales, a woman from Urionda from Tarija born in the community of la hut in the Uriondo municipality of the Avilez province of the Tarija department, was a great producer of singani in the 1980s, initiating a family legacy that has lasted since that time. Its beginnings were in the 70s when it began with the elaboration of the first singanis of which she prepared the base wine in the community of Calamuchita where she lived with her husband and eternal companion RODOLFO FLORES, it was here where, harvesting the fruits of her first vineyard, LA HUERTA prepared the base wine, which fermented an autochthonous tarijeño tree in carob barrels. Since the year 82, Mamita Ayda began with the production of singani, initially taking the grapes from Calamuchita to Sella to rent a wood falca in which she distilled the first singanis. Later he recovered his father's falca where he continued with the elaboration of his singani and when he saw that he was already making his best quality singanis, he began to share it with more people and customers grew and he was covering more places. She was also venturing into the production of wines, which were kept in glass demijohns. However, Doña Ayda was making singani year after year until her departure to heaven in 1997 due to a terminal cancer because that did not disappoint the family as she left a legacy in her children and grandchildren who to this day continue to produce this delicious low singani. the same recipe from doña Ayda Over the years, doña's family continued to produce grapes and singanis on a property where she grew up and forged her ideals of creating singani which was the paddock that was initially used as its name says as a cattle pasture. The name lasts to this day and that is why we dedicate the name of our singani to that magical place that today is a vineyard that produces the most delicious and aromatic tasting grape that is used to process our singanis. It was because of this very particular family history that the idea of industrializing production arises to improve the way of producing and being able to share it with the world, the intention of the family is to conclude a project that is emerging little by little and that more than sure that would come to please the palates of many people both in Bolivia and soon we dream of arriving in the United States.
